Watches for Adventurers
The Nodus TrailTrekker is a sports model developed as part of the Nodus Design Lab project in collaboration with the American brand Raven Watches, which has long specialized in robust outdoor watches. The result is a modern tool watch designed for travel and movement in challenging environments, combining durable construction with practical dual-time zone functionality.
The case is made of 316L stainless steel with a diameter of 39.5 mm, a lug-to-lug length of 46.6 mm, and a thickness of approximately 11.8 mm, ensuring compact proportions while maintaining a robust construction. The surface of both the case and the steel bracelet is treated with a DLC coating, which increases wear resistance and creates a matte technical look. The watch has a water resistance of 200 m, suitable for full-fledged sports use.
The model uses a fixed 24-hour bezel with engraved numerals, which is protected by a Cerakote® coating, a material commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, and military industries. The same technology also protects the dial, whose structure is designed for high legibility in various lighting conditions. The applied indices and hands are filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9, ensuring good visibility in the dark.
The dial is complemented by a GMT hand and a 24-hour scale, allowing for tracking of a second time zone. The watch is equipped with an automatic Miyota 9075 caliber, which is a "true GMT" movement – the local hour hand can be adjusted independently of the other hands, making it easier to reset the time when traveling. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph and offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
The dial is protected by a box-style sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, which optically references historical sports models while providing high scratch resistance. The watch comes on a steel flat-link bracelet with a taper of 20 → 16 mm, equipped with a proprietary NodeX clasp with micro-adjustment and quick-release spring bars. The package also includes a textile nylon strap for a sportier use.
The Nodus TrailTrekker represents a technically refined travel watch that combines compact dimensions, enhanced surface finish durability, and a practical GMT complication in a modern tool watch design.

About the brand
Nodus is an independent American watch brand based in Los Angeles, founded in 2017 by long-time friends and watch enthusiasts Wesley Kwok and Cullen Chen. Since its inception, the brand has positioned itself as a development-oriented company focused on the design and construction of modern mechanical watches that combine functional design with a high level of technical craftsmanship.
The brand's philosophy is based on the idea of "purpose-built watches" – watches designed for a specific purpose. Nodus models draw on the tradition of classic tool-watch categories, such as dive, field, or sports watches, and complement them with contemporary design elements and modern manufacturing processes.
An important part of the brand's identity is also its own development of technical solutions and components. Nodus has long invested in research into manufacturing processes and construction details – from micro-adjustment clasp systems and bezel construction to the optimization of cases and other functional elements. Watches are designed and finally assembled in Los Angeles, where they undergo inspection, regulation, and testing before being shipped to customers.
Thanks to a combination of thoughtful design, robust construction, and an emphasis on technical details, Nodus has built a strong position among independent watch brands within a few years. The collections today include a wide range of sports models – from versatile everyday watches to specialized tool watches designed for active use.
