Nodus – Duality II – Drift Blue

The Nodus Duality II is a modern interpretation of classic dual-crown dive watches, inspired by historical super-compressor models from the mid-20th century. This concept combines the robust construction of dive watches with an internal rotating bezel controlled by a second crown, thus maintaining a clean case profile while providing full functionality for time measurement underwater and in everyday use.

The case is made of 316L stainless steel and has a diameter of 40 mm, a thickness of approximately 11.5 mm, and a 48 mm lug-to-lug length, creating balanced proportions on the wrist. The construction utilizes two screw-down crowns, with the upper one controlling the internal rotating bezel, while the lower crown is used for setting the time. Thanks to this design, the watch achieves a water resistance of 300 m, which is common for full-fledged dive models.

The dial is designed with an emphasis on readability and spatial depth. Applied indices with polished facets reflect light and increase contrast, while the hands and indices are filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9, ensuring good readability in low-light conditions. The construction is complemented by a box-dome sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, whose distinctive dome refers to the aesthetic of historical dive watches.

Inside the watch operates an automatic Miyota 9015 movement with a frequency of 28,800 vph and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The caliber is regulated by Nodus to achieve an accuracy of approximately ±8 s/day.

The watch comes on a steel bracelet with a 20 → 16 mm taper, equipped with quick-release spring bars and a proprietary NodeX clasp, which allows for fine adjustment of the bracelet length directly on the wrist.

The Nodus Duality II represents a technically sophisticated sports watch that combines historical inspiration from dive models with modern craftsmanship and robust construction. The model is designed and finally assembled in Los Angeles, where it also undergoes regulation and inspection before shipping.
