The Futurist model from VARIO is a tribute to the daring design of the 1970s – a time when humanity looked to the stars and everything seemed possible. The space race era, when technology, art, and imagination merged into visions of the future, became the inspiration. It is from this era that the Futurist draws its shapes, materials, and expression.

The 316L stainless steel case features distinctive geometric lines and a hand-milled texture reminiscent of sun rays, creating a shimmering glow as light hits it. This is complemented by a faceted sapphire crystal, whose beveled edges reflect light much like the surface of a spaceship. The sunburst dial with a smoky gradient subtly changes shades depending on the light, while applied indices and color-matched hands emphasize the watch's futuristic character.

Inside, a reliable Miyota 9039 automatic movement with over 40 hours of power reserve provides precision and durability in line with modern standards. 10 ATM water resistance ensures adequate protection for daily wear, and with dimensions of 39 mm in diameter and 10 mm in height, the watch appears balanced on most wrists.
