Behind the design of these elegant, hand-blown borosilicate glass hourglasses is Italian designer Denis Guidone - winner of national and international awards such as the Ida Design Award, Idot, Bruno Munari award, ADI index 2010, special recognition Young design award 2011, "the design of amazement" at Young & Design 2012.

This elegant Christmas limited edition is available with a Christmas tree or a Polar Bear. The white sand filling the chambers then completes the wonderful Christmas poetry.

The hourglasses are made by Ichendorf glass masters using the lampworking method, which creates ridges pleasant to the touch and to the eye. This process involves melting the glass with a torch, and once molten, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with tools and hand movements.

Due to manual production, slight variations in the finish of each piece may occur. As a result of manual production, small bubbles, tiny black dots, and minor scratches may be present in the glass, which are not considered defects.
