The Sherpa Ultradive are mechanical dive watches designed in the classic true compressor style, inspired by professional dive models of the 1960s. The robust 40mm stainless steel case utilizes a traditional EPSA-STOP bayonet closure system, which, combined with compressor crowns, increases resistance to water pressure and ensures water resistance up to 200 meters (20 bar) in accordance with ISO 6425.

The front of the watch is protected by a significantly domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, beneath which is a slightly convex dial with applied diamond-cut indices. These are complemented by faceted hands, which minimize glare and contribute to excellent readability. A characteristic feature is the "double lollipop" seconds hand with two luminous dots for easy control of operation even in low light conditions.

The inner rotating dive bezel is controlled by the upper compressor crown, a typical design solution for watches of this type. Functional features include hour, minute, central seconds, and date display.

Inside the watch beats the automatic mechanical caliber Mantramatic MM01, based on the Sellita SW200-1 movement in Top Grade execution. The movement is subtly decorated on both sides, finished with gold plating, and features a custom rotor. It has a power reserve of approximately 38 hours and includes a unique "spiritual complication" in the form of two microscopic prayer wheels inspired by Tibetan Buddhist mantras, which rotate continuously during normal operation of the movement.

The Ultradive model is fitted with a 20mm Tropic-style vulcanized rubber strap, which ensures high comfort even in demanding conditions. The Sherpa Ultradive represents a modern interpretation of historical compressor dive watches, combining authentic construction, high functionality, excellent readability, and an original watchmaking concept.

Technical details:

Mantramatic, or the only watches with positive energy

Mantramatic represents a unique concept that can be described as the world's first "good vibes" mechanical watch. It is an original interpretation of traditional watchmaking mechanics, in which technical precision is interwoven with the deep symbolism of Tibetan Buddhism. Its foundation is a custom-modified mechanical automatic movement, whose individual components bear microscopically laser-engraved mantras.

The construction includes a special mantra disk with the inscription OM MANI PADME HUM and the option to add a personal mantra intended for the specific wearer. The movement itself bears the engraving "may all beings be happy and free" and the mantra repeatedly appears on the seconds wheel, whose fine segmentation also serves as a precise measurement scale. Another mantra is laser-engraved on the escape wheel, which here fulfills not only a technical but also a symbolic function.

The escape wheel with engraved mantras functions on the same principle as Tibetan prayer wheels – with each rotation, it symbolically "transmits" a message of compassion, wisdom, and kindness. These microscopic prayer elements are hidden within the Mantramatic movement, which is exclusively used in Sherpa Ultradive and OPS models.

The Sherpa Watches brand consciously builds on the craftsmanship and technical quality of Swiss watchmaking pioneers, bringing the proven construction principles of the golden era of mechanical watches into the present. The design of the Ultradive and OPS models remains true to historical archetypes, as their visual character is as strong today as it was half a century ago. Technically, however, current models significantly surpass their predecessors in accuracy, water resistance, and overall durability.

The Mantramatic movement is not an ordinary automatic caliber. Thanks to laser-engraved mantras, applied using a specially created Tibetan script, its rotating wheels constantly move during normal operation – thus, according to Buddhist tradition, "activating" the mantra millions of times a year. These details are not visible to the naked eye. They are not meant to be checked, but to be experienced. It's not a complication that can be observed, but an idea that can be worn.

Sherpa Watches is an independent watch brand founded in 2019, aiming to revive the iconic Sherpa dive watches, originally produced by Enicar S.A. in the 1950s and 60s. These historical models, renowned for their durability and technical solutions, became synonymous with compressor dive watches designed for professional use.

The current production of Sherpa Watches is based on the authentic construction principles of "true compressor" cases, whose water resistance increases with rising water pressure. The brand uses a modern interpretation of historical EPSA-STOP cases with a bayonet closure and characteristic two crowns, including the MONOFLEX solution, which ensures reliable operation in demanding conditions. These technical elements are combined with contemporary materials and manufacturing standards.

Sherpa watches are hand-assembled from high-quality components sourced from European suppliers, primarily Switzerland and Germany. Emphasis is placed on the precision of case processing, dial readability, bezel functionality, and overall structural durability. Models such as Ultradive and OPS represent a modern reinterpretation of historical dive watches while retaining their original aesthetics and functional purpose.
