Italian elegance

The design of these elegant handmade borosilicate glass hourglasses is by Italian designer Denis Guidone - a holder of national and international awards, such as the Ida Design Award, Idot, Bruno Munari award, ADI index 2010, a special mention Young design award 2011, "the design of amazement" at Young & Design 2012. Due to handmade production, there may be slight variations in the finish of each piece. As a result of handmade production, small bubbles, tiny black dots, and minor scratches may occur in the glass, which are not considered defects.

Handmade glasses

Each hourglass holds 15 minutes of black sand and features tinted color chambers. The hourglasses are made by Ichendorf glass masters using the lampworking method, which creates ridges pleasant to the touch and sight. This process involves melting glass with a torch, and once molten, the glass is shaped by blowing and forming with tools and hand movements.
