Horologer MING was founded in 2017 with the ambition to restore to watches the lost ability to fascinate through thoughtful design, innovative materials, and proprietary technology. The 37.02 Minimalist model represents one of the key milestones on this journey.
The MING 37.08 Twilight brings a touch of romance and gentle sparkle to the wrist, completing MING's core starting trio alongside the Minimalist and Monolith models.
Successor to the Starlight
The Twilight is an evolution of the Starlight model and takes its place in the collection. It retains and further develops the aventurine dial evoking the night sky and the manual-winding Sellita for MING SW210.M1 movement, which offers a daily opportunity for physical contact with the watch.
Aventurine is a glassy material dotted with tiny copper inclusions that light up like stars in the dark sky when the wrist moves. Unlike a painted or printed effect, this is a natural material structure, so the dial looks different with every turn of the wrist.
DLC case with combined surface finish
The dial and movement are now housed in a stainless steel case with DLC coating, combining polished and brushed surfaces that complement the dial. This combination gives the watch a distinctive character – dynamic and lively on the wrist, without appearing extravagant.
As a 37 series model, the Twilight measures 38 × 10.9 mm; together with its narrow bezel, this format allows the dial to stand out as the main element while maintaining comfort and versatility for a wide range of wrist sizes, dressing styles, and occasions.
Movement: a manual ritual
The manual winding of the Sellita for MING SW210.M1 movement adds a dimension to the watch that an automatic movement can never offer – a conscious, daily winding gesture, a physical connection to the mechanics on the wrist.
Strap
The Twilight is complemented by an elegant anthracite goat leather strap from Jean Rousseau Paris.
