About the brand

MAEN Watches is an independent watch brand founded in 2017 by Dutch designers Jules van Helvoort and Sebastiaanen Cortjaens. The idea originated in Stockholm, where they both lived and decided to create a brand that combines Nordic simplicity with a Dutch sense of design and detail.

MAEN focuses on modern mechanical watches inspired by classic shapes from the 60s and 70s. Model lines such as Hudson, Skymaster and Manhattan are based on historical archetypes that the brand interprets in a contemporary way – with compact dimensions, precise workmanship and Swiss movements.

The brand has quickly become one of the most interesting new European micro-brand manufacturers thanks to its clean design, direct approach to customers and emphasis on quality.
