The Maen × Nico Leonard is a limited edition, created in collaboration between the Maen brand and watch enthusiast Nico Leonard. This model features a jump-hour complication, meaning mechanical time display through hour windows and a rotating minute disc, instead of classic hands. This form of time display gives the dial a minimalist and historically inspired character.
The case has a tonneau (barrel) shape with dimensions of approximately 34 mm × 45 mm and a thickness of 9.7 mm. The profile is relatively thin and ergonomically designed for comfortable wear. The case surface combines brushed and polished finishes, highlighting its structural form.
The dial has a sunray finish and is available in three color variants. Time is displayed using two windows: one for jumping hours and one for minutes on a disc. The windows are integrated into the dial design to match the case contours. Below the minute window, a logo is placed, complementing the overall aesthetic of the dial.
The watch is powered by an automatic Sea-Gull ST1721 movement modified for jump-hour functionality with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. This movement combines a traditional automatic mechanism with the jumping hour complication.
The model comes on an integrated FKM rubber strap with a butterfly clasp and is offered in three dial and strap color combinations.
The Maen × Nico Leonard Jump Hour is designed for those seeking a mechanically unconventional way of displaying time, a distinctive case shape, and a minimalist dial reflecting a historical complication in a modern interpretation.
