LIP Churchill T24 Model
The T24 model is a larger variant of the popular T18 model. The Art Deco style dial of the T24 model is inspired by a period model (the same dial was on the model worn by Winston Churchill in 1948) with Arabic numerals and a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock.
The Churchill collection offers a wide range of models available in several sizes. The color palette of the dials is also available in several shades. These models are available with quartz or automatic movements. A true essential for watch lovers who appreciate Art Deco design and timeless elegance.

LIP legend from France
LIP is a renowned French brand that has been producing quality watches for over 150 years. The company was founded in 1867 by Emmanuel Lipmann in Besançon, France. Initially, the brand focused on producing pocket watches, but with the development of technology, it began manufacturing wristwatches as well. Over the years, Lip designed and produced approximately 40 different movements for pocket and wristwatches.
LIP watches are known for their elegant and timeless design, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. The brand has collaborated with renowned designers and artists, such as André Donat (designer of the T18 model) and Roger Tallon (designer of the Mach 2000 model).
One of the most iconic LIP watches is the "Baignoire" model, designed by the company's founder in 1925. These watches feature a rectangular case and a unique crown placement at 12 o'clock. They were worn by famous personalities such as Pablo Picasso and Marilyn Monroe.
Size matters
The T24 model is a slightly enlarged version of the basic T18 model. It is therefore more suitable for those who are looking for a slightly proportionally larger watch, yet still in the style of the basic T18 model.
From our own experience, we can confirm that the T24 model fits perfectly on a wrist of 18 cm and certainly does not appear small.
Those looking for a larger watch might find the T24 model an interesting alternative.
The difference in size is only 3 mm (in height and width), yet it is a rather noticeable difference. Incidentally, the size comparison can be seen from the illustrative photo next to it.
An indelible mark in the watchmaking world
Among watch collectors, the most sought-after watches are probably those launched in the 1950s and late 1960s. At that time, LIP helped the then practically unknown brand Blancpain with marketing and sales of their waterproof watches. Models from this period bear not only the Blancpain logo on the dial, but also the LIP logo. Moreover, initially, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms series was indeed powered by the Lip R23 movement.
LIP watches also made history by being the first brand to introduce electric watches in 1952. The watch worn in space by Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin in 1961 was powered by a licensed LIP movement.
Vandaag, LIP continues to innovate and produce quality watches that combine elegant design. Their watches are sold in more than 70 countries worldwide and are highly popular among watch enthusiasts and collectors.
