Handwerk Edition

The Kudoke Handwerk collection — which means "handicraft" in German — is powered by the Kaliber 1 movement and includes four models.

About the model

The Kudoke 1 is the epitome of simplicity. The dial features a matte white two-layer construction with Roman numerals and dots on the outer part and elegant blued steel hands, with the shape of the hour hand inspired by the infinity symbol. A small sub-dial for the seconds with its own ring perfectly balances the distinctive Kudoke logo plate. The watch design is minimalist, with a highly polished 39mm stainless steel case and an onion crown. Turning the watch over reveals the Kaliber 1 movement, which stands out with a rich palette of gold and silver. Hand-engraved parts reveal another symbol of infinity, adding even more elegance to the watch.

For an additional charge, KUDOKE offers options for a more decorated movement, with all such modifications performed by hand. Similarly, a full gold case is available for an additional charge. Pictures of decorated movements and watches with gold cases can be viewed in the product gallery.

About Stefan Kudoke

Stefan Kudoke was born in Frankfurt on September 18, 1978. From 1995 to 1998, he completed his watchmaking education with the watchmaker Hoffmann in Frankfurt and in Glashütte, Saxony. Since July 2001, he has been a master watchmaker. Subsequently, he studied business administration at the University of Applied Sciences Lausitz in Senftenberg and the Institute of Technology in Letterkenny (Ireland), specializing in marketing and design. He gained professional experience at Atelier für Komplikationen in Glashütte Original and in New York at Breguet, Blancpain, and Omega.

Since March 2004, Stefan Kudoke has been working as an independent watchmaker. Exactly one year later, he founded the KUDOKE brand, aiming to produce luxury watches with a high degree of individualization.

In 2018, Kudoke debuted with his own Kaliber 1, whose architecture is based on the designs of Habring Felix. This caliber was used in the Kudoke 1 and Kudoke 2 models, which were presented with AHCI at Baselworld in 2019. The Kudoke 2 won the “Petite Aiguille” award for watches in the price range between 4,000 and 10,000 CHF at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in November 2019, which was its first win.
