Feynman VI – Galaxy Onyx

In 2023, Feynman released the first group edition of the Galaxy Onyx – 55 pieces were gone in an instant. Two years later, to mark the brand's seventh anniversary, the Galaxy Onyx returns – this time in the form of the Feynman VI, the brand's first watch delivered on a steel bracelet.

Genuine Onyx Dial

The Galaxy Onyx Edition comes with a full black onyx dial featuring applied Chinese numerals in rose gold. Onyx is not a print or an imitation – it is a natural mineral, whose deep black, homogeneous surface has few alternatives in watchmaking. Rose gold numerals stand out with extraordinary clarity against this background. Each dial features a vertically brushed surface, only visible upon closer inspection.

TV Case: A Tribute to the Vintage Era

The Feynman VI is deeply inspired by TV cases of the past. The name is a tribute to the word "VINTAGE" – and also sounds like "Vee" in TV. The rectangular case with strikingly bevelled edges and a fully brushed surface is deliberately retro, yet its aspect ratio and proportions give it a thoroughly modern feel. The polished fixed bezel optically reduces the overall impression of the case and focuses the eye on the dial.

The Thinnest Feynman in the Brand's History

The Feynman VI is the thinnest model the brand has produced in its six years of existence. The case measures only 8.64 mm including the front and back sapphire crystals, and the bracelet is 2.6 mm thick. The case dimensions are 40 × 38 mm, made of 316L stainless steel.

Bracelet: A Feynman First

The Feynman VI is the brand's first model ever delivered on a steel bracelet. The bracelet tapers smoothly from 24 mm at the case, with an "H" shaped central link construction that adapts to the wrist's shape, similar to vintage watches. It is secured by a folding clasp. The bracelet is attached with quick-release spring bars.

ETA 7001 Movement

Inside the case, a manually wound ETA 7001 movement powers the watch – a caliber valued for its minimal height and reliability – with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a 40-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through a sapphire case back secured by four screws, with blue screws and brushed bridges adding visual value to the view of the back.
