DUG Deutsche Uhrenmanufaktur Glashütte is a young watchmaking brand based in Glashütte, a city renowned for its long tradition in watch manufacturing. Model Purist

The DUG Purist model line is the result of over two years of development, aiming to combine traditional Glashütte watchmaking craftsmanship with modern design and an accessible price. The result is a watch that is not only elegant but also durable and suitable for everyday wear.

The Purist is available in two variants: Type 1 with linear indices and Type 2 with numeral indices. Both models offer a choice of three dial colors: onyx black, royal blue, and moon white. Additionally, an optional date indicator at the 6 o'clock position is available.

The watch case, made of 40 mm stainless steel, consists of three parts with polished and brushed surfaces. The case is topped with a slightly domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating. With water resistance up to 100 meters (10 ATM) and shock protection, they are suitable for various activities, including swimming.

At the heart of the watch is the automatic DUG 400 movement, based on the Sellita SW 400 caliber, which is hand-assembled and decorated in Glashütte. The movement offers a 40-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire case back, the detailed finish of the movement, including blued screws and perlage, is visible.

The dial is adorned with applied indices or numerals, which add depth and a sophisticated look. For legibility in the dark, Swiss Super-LumiNova® luminescence is used.

The strap is available in genuine buffalo leather or as a stainless steel bracelet with micro-adjustment for fine-tuning. Both versions feature a quick-release system for easy tool-free replacement. This allows the watch to be adapted to various styles and occasions.

The DUG Purist represents a blend of traditional craftsmanship with modern elements, offering an authentic piece of watchmaking art from Glashütte at an accessible price.

The Purist Type 2 model is characterized by its clear appearance with numeral indices.

The "Granitgrau" limited edition features a beautifully grey dial with a gradient transition from a light shade in the center to a dark tone at the outer edge of the dial. The limited edition is available in a version without a date window.
