About the model
The DELMA Midland model is based on the iconic watch of the same name from the 1980s, whose distinctive design has been reinterpreted in a modern form. The overall composition references the prominent geometric shapes typical of that decade, with the integrated bracelet flowing seamlessly into the tonneau-shaped case, creating a compact and visually balanced whole. The fluted bezel adds a classic accent to the watch, contrasting with the finely brushed, smooth surfaces of the case and bracelet.
The salmon dial is decorated with a pyramid guilloché pattern, which enhances its texture and gives the watch depth. The applied baton indices and the hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9, ensuring immediate readability in all lighting conditions.
The stainless steel case is enclosed by a solid case back with an engraved DELMA logo and offers water resistance up to 10 ATM (100 meters). The watch is equipped with a folding clasp with safety pushers, ensuring comfortable and secure wear. The latest generation of the DELMA Midland model thus continues the tradition of a collection that emphasizes functionality, timeless design, and long-term durability, while maintaining high comfort for everyday wear.

About the brand
Delma is a Swiss watchmaking brand with over a century of tradition, specializing in the production of sports and diving watches. It was founded in 1924 by brothers Adolf and Albert Gilomen in Lengnau, Switzerland, under the name A. & A. Gilomen S.A.
Initially, they registered four brands: Thuya, Midland, Delma, and Gil.
The name Delma first appeared on watches in 1933 and gradually became the company's main brand. In 1966, Ulrich Wüthrich took over the company and renamed it Delma Watch Ltd. In 1996, he handed over the management of his company to his son-in-law, Fred Leibundgut, who is the current chairman of the board and CEO. Delma remains a family-owned company and is still based in Lengnau, where it was originally founded.
Delma is known for its production of high-quality sports watches, including diving models, which are valued for their durability and reliability. Its well-known models include series such as Shell Star and Blue Shark, which are popular among divers and adventurers. The brand also collaborates with IMOCA 60 and is the official timekeeper for the Transat New York-Vendée race, which led to the creation of the Oceanmaster collection.
Delma prides itself on its long history and commitment to producing quality watches that combine traditional Swiss craftsmanship with modern design and technology.
