Brew Metric – Chromatic

The Brew Chromatik is a chronograph wristwatch, built on a meca-quartz movement that combines a quartz base for timekeeping with a mechanically designed chronograph module. This concept allows for high precision of the base time while providing the characteristic mechanical feel when operating the chronograph.

The dial is executed in a matte black shade, minimizing reflections and enhancing legibility. The layout is functionally oriented and based on measuring instruments: central hands display hours, minutes, and chronograph seconds, while subdials are used to read the elapsed chronograph time. A fine minute scale is located around the perimeter of the dial, allowing for precise reading of short time intervals. All graphic elements are designed with an emphasis on contrast and clarity.

The case is made of stainless steel and features a black PVD coating, which unifies the watch's appearance and increases surface resistance to wear. The case shape with integrated lugs is derived from 70s sports watch design, while maintaining compact proportions suitable for everyday wear. A sapphire crystal protects the dial.

The meca-quartz movement used employs a mechanical cam system for the chronograph, giving the pushers a clearly defined action and ensuring the central chronograph hand instantly returns to zero after reset. Operating the chronograph thus feels closer to classic mechanical solutions than to typical quartz chronographs.
