The Baltic HMS 003 are mechanical watches with automatic winding, which follow the traditional aesthetics of watches inspired by the 1940s with modern proportions and a carefully crafted dial. The model features a compact 36.5 mm stainless steel case, simple and functional time display, and a design that combines classic design with everyday practicality.
The case is horizontally brushed on the sides and complemented by a polished bezel, with the watch equipped with a high-domed hesalite crystal, which adds depth to the dial and a visual connection to the historical design. Water resistance is 50 m, which is suitable for everyday use.
The dial has a sectoral layout with central grained and radially brushed segments, creating a subtle contrast of surfaces and enhancing clarity. The applied hour markers and hands are proportionally balanced and correspond to the overall retro-inspired character. In different dial color variants, the tone and accents of the markers and hands vary – for example, in the "silver-blue" version, the markers and hands are slightly blued against a silver background, while other variants use silver or gold-colored accents.
Inside, an automatic mechanical Miyota 8315 movement works without the need for manual winding, operating at a frequency of approximately 21,600 vibrations per hour and offering approximately 60 hours of power reserve, including a hacking seconds function for precise time setting.
The watch comes with an Italian leather strap or optionally with a stainless steel bracelet (e.g., "beads-of-rice" or "flat-link"), with a standard lug width of 20 mm, which makes it easy to change for other straps according to the wearer's preference.
