Arcange x Infinity Limited Edition

Following the success of the limited edition we created with the French brand Arcange for the Micro Prague festival, we decided to continue this collaboration.

This time, a special edition was created exclusively for INFINITY Watches. The base remains one of Arcange's most successful models, whose characteristic salmon-colored sector dial we loved during our first collaboration. However, this time you will find our own INFINITY Watches designation on the back of the watch.

The result is a distinctive limited edition combining French design, classic watchmaking proportions, and a Miyota mechanical automatic movement.

Technical details

Case: 37.2 mm, 316L stainless steel with PVD finish. Lug-to-lug 46 mm, height 9.5 mm.
Dial: Sector dial combining a sunburst finish in the center in salmon with a matte grey minute track. Applied indices in dark gun.
Hands: Heat-blued hour and minute hands.
Crystal: Domed sapphire crystal with five-layer anti-reflective coating.
Water resistance: 100 m.
Movement: Japanese Miyota 9039 mechanical automatic movement, 4 Hz frequency, power reserve approximately 42 hours.
Strap: Leather strap, steel pin buckle, 20 mm width.

About the limited edition

The base of this edition is the Arcange AS06 Salmon model, one of the brand's most successful models, which was already completely sold out.

The watch stands out primarily for its proportions. The 316L stainless steel case has a diameter of 37.2 mm, a lug-to-lug length of 46 mm, and a height of just 9.5 mm including the domed sapphire crystal. This gives it an elegant and compact feel on the wrist, yet it still offers enough presence.

The most striking element is the sector dial. Its salmon-colored center uses a subtle sunburst finish that changes depending on the light. This is followed by a matte grey minute track, applied dark gun indices, and blue accents on the minute track.

The overall character of the dial is complemented by heat-blued hands, which create a striking contrast to the salmon and grey color combination.

The case combines brushed and polished surfaces, highlighting its simple geometry. The domed sapphire crystal with a five-layer anti-reflective coating ensures good legibility while emphasizing the classic look of the watch.

Inside, the proven Japanese Miyota 9039 automatic movement operates with a frequency of 4 Hz and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.

The entire construction is completed by a leather strap and 100-meter water resistance, making the watch suitable not only for formal occasions but also as a versatile everyday watch.

On the back, you will find the INFINITY Watches designation, which commemorates the exclusive origin of this special edition.

About the brand

Arcange is an independent French watchmaking brand whose creation is linked to its founder's personal discovery. As a child, he discovered his grandfather's watch from 1969, and this moment became the impetus for his long-term interest in the mechanics and aesthetics of classic watches.

Arcange's design therefore naturally features references to vintage watches, as well as inspiration from the instrumental look of aviation instruments. The result is a distinctive style that combines traditional watchmaking elements with a clean and contemporary approach.

Arcange watches are finally assembled and controlled in Besançon, a traditional center of French watchmaking. The brand also uses leather straps made in France.

Technically, Arcange primarily works with Miyota 9 series mechanical automatic movements. The brand is also characterized by sector dials, restrained color palettes, clean layouts of individual elements, and carefully crafted cases combining brushed and polished surfaces.

Arcange thus represents the contemporary form of independent French watchmaking – a brand that builds on classic watchmaking principles, pays attention to detail, and at the same time creates its own easily recognizable design language.
